"I was born and brought up in Surrey and it was a big move for me to come 'up north' as I saw it then, but that was 15 years ago and we have never looked back. What struck me when we moved here was how easy it was to make new friends, having lived in London and barely got to know our next door neighbours. My journey into work is really enjoyable, about 10 miles along lanes through beautiful villages and countryside. It is so easy to get everywhere else in the country. We live very close to the M1, the M42, and the A50 which gives quick access to the M6. We can be in most major cities in England within a couple of hours, and for Scotland and Europe we have East Midlands airport on our doorstep."

"The High street offices are close to main shops and market place, with great views of the river and surrounding fields. The architecture of the buildings would even please Prince Charles, with the more modern Carling House and Trent House building matching the red bricks of the more classic Old Bass House and Town House. The town centre has most of the mainstream shops that you might need and the market place which is open for business Thurs, Fri and Sat has some great bargains for fruit, veg and many other items."
