Getting flexible for Mencap
Adrian Davey (Managing Director, Molson Coors (UK) Off Trade) had always wanted to do a marathon, but he had never quite managed to find the time to put in the necessary training.
So, when he heard about Molson Coors' (UK) new flexible working arrangements - and that Mencap was to be the company's official charity - Adrian realised he could not put it off any longer.

'Most of my weekend and holiday time is taken up with family commitments, so in the past it has been hard to find time to do enough training,' Adrian explained. 'The new flexible benefits give me the option to buy a few extra days' holiday and in the build-up to the London marathon, I am taking most Friday afternoons off to train.'
Staff at Mencap secured Adrian a place in the starting line-up and he is hoping to raise at least £2,000 for the charity. 'It's an extremely worthy cause and I'm delighted to be supporting them.'
