Coors Brewers Ltd has recalled two batches of Grolsch Premium Lager 300ml bottles, with code L8199 and L8200 and best before end date (BBE) 31 Mar 09. Only 300ml bottles with either of these batch codes and this best before date from a 20 pack are affected.
This recall follows the discovery of some pieces of glass in a small number of Grolsch Premium Lager 300ml bottles. No other Grolsch products or packages are affected. This product has only been distributed to Morrisons.
Customers have been alerted to this problem and warning advice notices placed in various national newspapers for Saturday 13 September.
Health and safety is of paramount importance and all the affected products are being recalled.
The best before date and batch information is located both on the external cardboard packaging and also on the shoulder of the bottle. Affected products should be returned to Morrisons. Further information can be obtained from the Coors freephone number on 0800 371166.
